The Grants Collective addresses the philanthropic divide between New Mexico and higher-resourced states by developing capacity in nonprofit organizations to fully resource their work and improve the quality of life in our state. We seek to increase national and federal investments in New Mexico that will spur economic and social impact, and bolster the nonprofit sector as a key player in the vitality of New Mexico. Our services include: Cooperative Network of Nonprofits: An in-person and online community space to help nonprofit organizations find funding, collaborate with each other around grant opportunities, and garner and share grant seeking resources and knowledge to create efficiencies in the sector. Talent Academy: A 6-month professional development fellowship that provides grant professionals with formal training; access to professional and peer grant expertise on projects; project based learning through hands-on proposal development; expertise from the best in our community; membership in the Cooperative Network; and ongoing mentoring for a year. Grow New Mexico: A fiscally sponsored project of the Collective, Grow provides technical assistance to large-scale community development projects to find funding mechanisms, and build financing packages and deal structures.
