Juan Gallegos founded Lumen Motors with the mission to create the worlds very best cars. Since he was a child, Juan has carried with him an insatiable passion for cars and technology. At the age of 10, Juan had a series of imaginary companies including companies that made telescopes, combat submarine, luxury cruise liners, and most notably, a car company which he dubbed Citrine Motors. In all of those companies, Juan had drawn countless of sketches with specs and figures. As time went on, and as Juans passion for cars grew during his time at the University of Houston, he decided at the age of 20 to pursue his childhood dream: to create and build a car company. Not just any car company, but a company with an reverence for the environment and an ardent passion for cars; a company that seeks to redefine the boundaries of performance, elegance, sustainability, and quality. Lumen Motors materialized in August of 2014 with the mission of creating the worlds best cars; a series of premier electric vehicles. Our mission is to develop and produce the worlds very best cars that realize things only possible with electric vehicle technology. Lumen envisions a future where every vehicle runs purely electric, and is committed to seeing that dream turn into a reality. We think outside the current bounds of performance, comfort, elegance, and practicality to create automotive masterpieces.
