We currently support a number of bespoke Schemes for doctors in the following specialities; ENT surgery, general surgery, gynaecology, ophthalmology, orthopaedics and trauma surgery, plastic surgery and urology. We also assist a number of direct members of the MPI Group outside the Schemes. Our product is different. Working in partnership with the Clinical Boards, we bring together a single team of doctors, lawyers, brokers and underwriters all striving to achieve the best outcome for our members. Unlike the traditional Medical Defence Organisations who tend to offer discretionary assistance on an occurrence basis , our product provides contractual certainty on a claims made basis . As long as you comply with the terms and conditions of your policy, you can be sure that you will be protected if you subsequently face a clinical negligence claim, GMC investigation, or other legal process arising from your practice of medicine.
