The Music Generation

We are a community of music lovers of all shapes and forms; musicians, music teachers, music students, we are music appreciators! We are a collective with a simple objective: We want to make music accessible to everyone! The Music Generation is a social enterprise based in Melbourne that commits itself to the accessibility of music and education. We run a mobile music school as a sustainable business while our profits go towards setting up our Cultural Music Program in communities all around the world. We believe in accessibility, collaboration and inclusiveness when it comes to creating music and that's what we bring across in our music school and our Social Projects. We strive to meet the hopes and needs of all musicians no matter what age or skill level by providing supportive and comfortable environments to meet, collaborate and perform. - We provide some of the lowest costing music lessons in Melbourne, which is even lower when you purchase a package deal - We are the only mobile music school in Melbourne, providing the option of travelling to your home for lessons - We hold four concerts per year, and have multiple other performance opportunities for students to showcase their talents and gain confidence in themselves - We support our teachers, paying them a higher percentage than most private music schools - We operate as a social enterprise, where all our profit goes towards our Social Projects that we run in disadvantaged communities We believe in accessibility, doing what we can to provide music to as many people as possible, particularly those who may not have access to it.
