The Natural Death Centre Charity

Established in 1991, The Natural Death Centre is a social, entrepreneurial, educational charity that gives free impartial advice on all aspects of dying, death and funerals. We support families who want to organise a funeral without the assistance of a funeral director, and we advise professionals from all walks of life who work with dying people and the bereaved families they leave behind. We also run The Association of Natural Burial Grounds, and, although green in outlook, our primary concern is promoting choice and informed empowerment in all aspects of funerals. We are passionate about sharing knowledge, dispelling myths, and empowering everyone who wants to have the best experience possible when it comes to making arrangements for a funeral. We firmly believe that knowledge is power, and that by knowing what is possible, you will be able to make informed choices about what is right for you, your family and for the person who has died.
