The Oxford Mining Club was established in 2010 for the benefit of those with interests in mining, investment in mining and good company. Our membership is by invitation-only and comprises a unique blend of senior mining executives, fund managers and certain industry specialists. Throughout the year, the Club organises a small but exclusive calendar of networking events often to coincide with prominent industry conferences, such as Mines and Money, 121 Investment and Mining Indaba. Our events include drinks receptions and formal dinners with the annual Summer Lunch being the highlight of the year - these are managed with discreet rigour and always held in prestigious venues across London, Oxford and Cape Town. OMC members come to our events to converse, listen and enjoy the company of our guests. There are no PowerPoint presentations, name badges or agenda speeches. We ensure that each member feels welcome upon arrival and that everyone leaves having had conversations of interest.
