The Play House uses participatory theatre and drama to support the language and learning of children and young people. We aim to stimulate childrens imagination and creativity, with meaningful participation at the heart of everything we do. Language Alive is our popular touring programme of participatory theatre in education for 3 11 year olds which specifically addresses requirements across the national curriculum, in particular the English statutory programme of study, stimulating spoken language and more effective writing. Each programme supports curriculum subjects such as English, Mathematics, History, Geography and Science and promotes SMSC development and British values, supporting your school ethos and behaviour policy. We also deliver issue based work across all age groups, INSET, workshops, residencies and bespoke projects.
