The Woodhorn Group

Established in 1882, The Woodhorn Group is a family run business based near Chichester in West Sussex. All aspects of our business are managed with the objective of environmental and economic sustainability for both our Business and the Community in which we operate. At the heart of the business is our 1500 acre organic arable and dairy farm on both the Chichester Plain and at the top of The South Downs. Our Organic milk is marketed through the Organic Milk Cooperative to Yeo Valley and Sainsbury’s, and organic milling wheat and malting barley are made into organic bread and beer. The Woodhorn Group also has a Business Centre that is ideally located for 'out-of-town' work life, with a range of offices, workshops and storage spaces available for let. Another key element of The Woodhorn Group is our two licensed recycling sites enabling significant diversion of green and wood waste from landfill in the South East. Using the garden waste, The Woodhorn Group produce their Earth Cycle range of peat free composting products including soil conditioner, top soil, turf dressing, wood chip and cow compost. Our range of Earth Cycle composts and soil conditioners provide eco-friendly, peat-free products for use by trade and domestic customers.
