At Poke, our goal is to help not-for-profit organisations and social enterprises turn social media into social impact. We achieve this goal by connecting these organisations with passionate and social media savvy university students, who are willing to volunteer their time and expertise on a weekly basis. To date, The Poke Initiative has assisted over 40 organisations across Sydney and Melbourne. We believe that Poke is providing a service to both the clients and the students who work with us. On the one hand, our clients are able to improve their stakeholder engagement, organisational efficiency and volunteer recruitment.
