Titlis Cableways is one of Switzerland's leading tourism companies. With its peak at over 10000 feet, the Titlis is one of the country's most internationally renowned excursion destinations. The company's business activities focus on the three areas of mountain cableways, hotels and gastronomy. The Cableways division comprises the operation and maintenance of 20 transportation facilities, the piste and rescue service, technical snowmaking and all summer and winter activities on the mountain. The Hotel Terrace on Engelberg's prime south-facing slope has 168 rooms and is one of the largest hotels in the region. The nine buildings of the TITLIS Resort with a total of 135 studios and apartments are just a stone's throw from the valley station. The Berghotel Trübsee with 37 rooms is located in the middle of the skiing and hiking area. The gastronomy division includes the establishments on the Titlis, the Stand ski hut, the gastronomy in the Berghotel Trübsee and the "Linie 8" and "Chalet" establishments at the valley station. It also includes the kiosks on the Titlis and in the valley station as well as the "Golf Stubli" at the Engelberg golf course.
