TokenSpin revolutionises the way charities fundraise and operate using the Ethereum blockchain. Fundraising is a critical revenue source for Australian charities, yet much of the taking ends up given to for-profit organisations as part of the fundraising costs (up to 70% in some instances for even the most reputable of charities in Australia). Our first project utilises blockchain technology to make fundraising raffles transparent, fun, efficient, and effective. By initiating fundraising on the blockchain, TokenSpin reduces the costs involved in setting up a campaign. Our long-term vision is to reinvigorate trust within charitable organisations through blockchain technology. Enabling a transparent fundraising process was a natural first step in achieving this.
