Tomatis New Zealand provides Tomatis® technology to coaches, teachers, and therapists so that their clients get better and faster results. Obtained improvements in listening capacity are permanent over time. Clients include all ages from children with learning challenges to business executives wanting to improve their speech and communication skills, improve sleep, or become more stress resilient. The Tomatis® is the gold standard of sound stimulation and has been for 60 years. More than 200,000 children and adults follow a Tomatis® programme each year and there are more than 2,500 teachers and therapist who are licensed to provide Tomatis® world-wide. Tomatis® New Zealand started in November 2012 founded by Maria Moell Lundqvist, a Certified Tomatis® Consultant and Tomatis® International Trainer from Sweden. Before that, Kiwis had to travel to Sydney to benefit from the method. Maria's long-term goal is to train 500 teachers and therapists in the Tomatis® Method in New Zealand to be able to provide training to all children regardless of socio-economic situation.
