By going for the top WRC category with the Toyota Yaris World Rally Car, which was developed based on the production Toyota Yaris, we accomplished three goals: We were able to train people in extreme conditions. We developed technologies at a high level. And we used the knowledge and experience gained as feedback in the development of new production vehicles.
