Brief introduction: I hold a dual US-Brazilian citizenship. Lived in Uruguay and Argentina for over 20 years. Attended high school at The German School in Montevideo, Uruguay. As a businessman in the electronics industry, traveled frequently to the US, Germany, India, Taiwan, Hong Kong and China. Established strong ties with my overseas suppliers, becoming a sole rep for renowned components' brands in Brazil. Successfully attended several trade shows in the above countries. Tony Idiomas started back in 2013 as a major career shift in my life. After 30+ years running my own business in the electronics industry, I felt an urge to move to a new, challenging and totally out of my comfort zone endeavor. Hence, months after weekly coaching sessions, Tony Idiomas initiated its activities as a private language entity, focused in two key activities: first, demonstrating that mastering a foreign language is a lot easier than most people think, if properly channeled. Secondly, getting to know your student is of the essence if one is to succeed. As individuals, we have different needs, overall learning abilities, to mention just a few. It also needs to be fun, thus creating a positive engaging learning environment. This is why I, as head of Tony Idiomas, insist on one-on-one private classes. I offer translation services from Portuguese into English and Spanish, and vice-versa. Interpreter for business executives and CEO's while conducting business affairs/negotiations in Brazil.
