Tosçelik Special Steel has a long tradition of 60 years in steel production, with a wide range of products and technologies used in the production lines. Former Zeljezara became a member of Tosyali Holding in 2012, and Tosyali Holding has been conducting their investments since the takeover date under the new name Tosçelik Special Steel in order to improve and modernize production technology and achieve high product quality. Some of Tosçelik's most substantial investments are SVC installation, the new vacuum station, burners on the EAF and ladle furnace revamping, the new RHF for reheating ingots and blooms in the forging mill, as well as new lathes for turning bars and a number of other significant investments for the continuous and good production. Tosçelik Special Steel is one of the major steelmakers in Europe and one of the main industries in Montenegro.
