TransGas is Saskatchewan's transmission company. Our head office is in Regina with additional offices in Maple Creek, Coleville, Success and Unity. There are 240 TransGas employees working hard to ensure the needs of our customers are met. TransGas Limited (TransGas), created in 1988, transports, stores, compresses and gathers natural gas in the province of Saskatchewan. TransGas is a wholly owned subsidiary of SaskEnergy Incorporated (SaskEnergy) and has the exclusive right to transport natural gas within the province TransGas and its affiliates, Many Islands Pipelines (Canada) Limited (MIPL(C)L) and Swan Valley Gas Corporation (SVGC), own and operate over to 14,000 kilometres of gathering and transmission pipeline in Saskatchewan. Since the installation of our first pipeline in 1952, TransGas has continued to build pipeline and related facilities every year. TransGas transports natural gas for more than 129 customers, including SaskEnergy Inc., producers and industrial and commercial customers. The TransGas pipeline system is connected to TransCanada pipelines, ATCO pipelines, and Havre pipeline, providing the Saskatchewan market access to Alberta and Montana gas supplies. TransGas' and MIPL(C)L's interconnections with other transmission systems (Foothills Pipelines Ltd., TransCanada Pipelines Ltd., Swan Valley Gas and Williston Basin Interstate) provide access to Manitoba, eastern Canadian and United States markets for Saskatchewan, Alberta and United States-sourced gas supplies.
