Transpire Foundation bridges the gap between education and the working world by giving people the opportunity to explore their strengths and interests, develop key life and business skills, and practice them in a volunteer setting. The concepts Transpire develops upon (each person has some strength to build from, a great worker is a balanced individual with key skills to manage life and work, and that practice is the only way to develop skills) are not presented in tandem with any other programs currently available. Entering the workplace requires a broad range of skills such as manners, practical knowledge about corporate environments, and interpersonal communication. In addition, Transpire helps people explore different opportunities (marketing one quarter and social media the next) as they continue within the program. We encourage them to be intrinsically adventurous, and show them paths towards passions that unlock motivation beyond any they have before experienced. First, we assess for strengths, interests, and personality profiles to help participants understand themselves. Next, we equip them with vital tools that will help them be successful in school and business. After they have a better understanding of themselves, we give them key skills through training modules reviewed and approved by a committee of highly esteemed advisers so the youth can grow into their roles. Training is only as good as it is practiced, so we incorporate the essential element of hands-on opportunities through charitable events and entities to let them practice their newly acquired skills. As they go through our program, we continually expand the experience from basic skills such as etiquette, personal finance, and common program training, to more involved modules revolving around team building, fundraising, leadership, and being the support you wish you had. Our modules are ecologically friendly, participation rich, and maximize every dollar donated. Visit our website!
