Trinity County Office of Education is located in Weaverville, California. Weaverville is the county seat of Trinity County in Northern California on State Highway 299, one hour west of Redding and two hours east of Arcata. The county is a rural mountainous community covering about 3,200 square miles with a population of approximately 13,000 people. We have nine school districts serving 1400 students from preschool to 12th grade. We are proud to have a Shasta Community College Satellite campus to serve our community. There are many small communities throughout the county with schools in Burnt Ranch, Coffee Creek, Douglas City, Lewiston, Hayfork, Mad River, Trinity Center, and Zenia. We have a rich art community, many well-maintained trails for hiking and biking, lakes, rivers, wildlife, and abundant beauty in our four seasons.
