Each location is casual and high volume. Our continued success is attributed to quality food at reasonable prices, and exceptional service in a fun environment for everyone. South Congress Cafe The café emerged in 2003, influenced by a new generation of local artists and fare. Our restaurant reflects how we feel about our food. We keep our roots in what works in the past while always striving to challenge ourselves with new ideas. Our building was originally a drug store built in the 1940's. To preserve the charm and history of old Austin we showcase the original brick structure in our bar, but also have kept it up to date with modern architectural details.
