Founded in 1883, TRY focuses on the needs of children, young people, families and communities. We are a social purpose organisation, successfully delivering access to early learning, providing mentoring for at-risk young people and developing training opportunities that create meaningful job pathways. Currently we operate over 40 childcare centres and counting in Victoria and South Australia, one to one and group Youth Mentoring programs across Victoria and a variety of building and construction services including transforming shipping containers into social, residential and commercial spaces. We employ approximately 400 staff and have around 300 volunteers across the organisation helping us make a meaningful difference. We are proud to offer a triple bottom line outcome to the community within early year’s education and training, and through the creation of employment opportunities and give support and guidance to young people facing challenges.
