We are an artificial intelligence startup that applies recent breakthroughs in Deep Learning to real-world video understanding. We are developing new, ground-breaking technology that allows machines to perceive the world like humans. Our technology can analyze video and extract meaning from it in real-time. We build Deep Learning systems using our large video datasets about common world situations. Our four founders, two of whom have resigned their professorships to join TwentyBN, met each other during their studies at the University of Bielefeld. Each of them has over 15 years of experience in machine learning, and in particular Deep Learning. Our bright office is located in the heart of Berlin Kreuzberg and our company language is English, but we speak a lot of German as well. OUR MISSION When humans solve intelligent tasks, they rely heavily on their common sense knowledge about the world. A detailed understanding of the physical world is however still largely missing from current applications in artificial intelligence and robotics. Our mission is to change that.
