Founded in 1979, the Burkle Center organizes conferences, lectures and workshops that bring leading figures in politics, economics and culture to both UCLA and the LA community. We promote discussions on conflict and cooperation, U.S. foreign policy, and changes in the world at large. Our programs include the Burkle Global Impact Initiative, the Initiative on Security and Religious Freedom, multiple research grants, a scholarship, and an undergraduate-level internship.
