UpGo is an educational technology (EdTech) company providing an e-learning publishing platform and smartphone apps optimized to teach life skills to today's youth. Our current education and parenting systems do little to teach kids life skills, for a variety of reasons. The end result is, young people transition into adulthood with academic knowledge but precious little know-how of the skills most critical to success in life, such as interpersonal communication, relationships, decision making, finance, health, careers and more. UpGo fills this huge market gap. UpGo delivers critical life-skills knowledge in a format kids like -- smartphone apps, with videos, social, and gamification. The apps are targeted primarily to parents and their teen and pre-teen children. The first UpGo app addresses cyber safety. The use of smartphones and social media has exploded not only for adults but also for school-aged kids. UpGo will help parents combat cyberbullying, sexting, pornography, online predators and screen addiction, which are reaching epidemic proportions. Additional life-skills topic apps will follow.
