The Virginia Community Healthcare Association is a nonprofit statewide association representing more than 150 Community Health Center sites, Migrant Health Centers, Healthcare for the Homeless programs, and similar organizations throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. For 40 years, the Virginia Community Healthcare Association has provided training and technical assistance services for our members including clinical and staff development, recruitment and retention services, board and executive development, and financial training. Currently, our member organizations provide over 1 million medical and educational encounters annually to more than 339,000 Virginians. These services are provided at service delivery sites reaching from the Eastern Shore to the mountains of Southwestern Virginia. The Association also provides recruiting and retention of healthcare practitioners (physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants) for its member organizations.
