Valueadded Paralegal and Notary Services, LLC (VAPN) was formed in 2010 as a provider of contract paralegal services to attorneys in the practices of probate or consumer bankruptcy law. The services are available onsite to law practices in the Columbus, Ohio area, and offsite (virtual) in Columbus and throughout the United States. The business also provides notary service within the state of Ohio. Specific service(s) to be provided are agreed upon by VAPN and the law firm / office contracting the service. For bankruptcy practices, we offer the following: petition and schedule preparation (Chapters 7 and 13) using Best Case Bankruptcy; means testing; investigation / verification of client's real and personal property titles and records, court cases, tax returns, previous BK filings, etc (PACER and county websites); calendaring and follow-up with client(s) on scheduled hearings, etc; other as specified by firm / office. For probate practices, we draft wills, POAs, advance directives, and other estate planning documents based on the facts provided by the attorney and using format(s) approved for use in that state.
