STATEMENT OF MISSION The Vietnamese American School System is committed to being a leading organization constantly striving for quality and compliance with international standard, it aims to equip the generation of Vietnamese young people with effective tools to improve their knowledge and widen their vision, it seeks to advance their careers so that they can satisfactorily meet the requirements of the economic and social development of the country as well as confidently integrate with the rest of the world. VASS students will be well prepared with advanced knowledge and study skills to successfully perform at their various learning levels in any educational setting in the world, as well as to satisfactorily meet societys requirements while retaining the Vietnamese Spirit and Asian traditional essence. INTRODUCTION OF VASS The Vietnamese American School System (VASS) is the only school system in Vietnam which provides a bilingual training program which encompasses the national program promulgated by the Ministry of Education and Training and the international primary and secondary program provided by the University of Cambridge, England. The program aims to equip students with a solid grounding for using English fluently in a variety of settings including studying abroad. Founded in July 2005, VASS has up to now established and developed a curriculum from nursery through to secondary. It also has established a center for English, computing skills and cultural activities with around 1,000 pupils from the school system and almost 60,000 learners from the english center. With sufficient modern teaching and learning facilities, the training program is designed carefully to integrate theory with practice to facilitate students acquisition of knowledge. The ESL program is taught by 100% knowledgeable and professional foreign teachers. At present, VASS has 13 campuses in Ho Chi Minh City, Tien Giang and Vinh Long Province
