VEMA Ltd was founded as one of the first companies in this branch in June 1990 as a purely Czech company without any foreign capital. From the very beginning its work was focused on providing complex IT services. The VEMA Information System was gradually developed and at present it offers over 40 basic applications and about 200 supporting modules. In 1995, important progress in company activities was made by founding an affiliate company VEMA Computers&Systems Ltd, which provides system integrator services. The next milestone for the company was 19 October 2000, when Vema Inc was established as a fusion of the two preceding companies. This allowed the company, now more powerful, to flexibly react to changes in the IT field and provide support services. The company makes use of an expert team of programmers and analysts, who participate in system development and maintenance. The team assures not only high software quality, but professional and methodical support and other services. By doing so the company is able to incorporate all legislative changes and fulfill individual customer requests quickly. Vema Inc actively cooperates with its many business associates. With their help it is able to provide sales, implementation and consulting services for clients all over the Czech and the Slovak Republic. These comprehensive services are provided from headquarters in Brno and the affiliate offices in Prague, České Budějovice, Olomouc, Ostrava, Bratislava and Banská Bystrica.
