visit berkeley is the official destination marketing organization for the city of berkeley. our mission is to cultivate and promote berkeley as a desirable destination for meetings, conventions, tour groups and leisure travelers. we serve as an official point of contact for convention & meeting planners, providing a variety of free services from assistance with hotel and meeting site selection, off site tour recommendations, transportation links and convention services. our visitor information center (vic) serves as a central point of information for visitors and residents alike. the vic offers a variety of free literature on berkeley's places of interests, what to do, where to stay, dine & shop, as well as assistance with parking, directions, transportation, meeting & banquet facilities.
