Vivekananda Institute of Technology

Vivekananda Institute of Technology (VIVTECH) is a fast growing technical institute, which is affiliated to the Biju Patnaik University of Technology(BPUT) and is recognized by AICTE. The institute is spread over a sprawling 40acres of land on a picturesque location at a distance of just 20 kms away from the historic temple city of Bhubaneswar. With lush greenery covering the campus, the institute is considered as the first ‘Green’ college of India. Recently, the Economic times has conferred VIVTECH as one of the top five engineering colleges of Orissa. VIVTECH offers the perfect learning ambience away from the hustle-bustle of the city life. Apart from the regular course curriculum, the institute emphasizes on industry specific training programs so as to prepare students for tomorrow’s job related challenges. The institute develops close collaboration with various industries through exchange of personnel as well as undertaking consultancy projects. Now VIVTECH plans collaboration links with other academic and research institutions in the country and abroad which will be helpful for its students in knowledge and idea sharing. Recently, the institute has signed a memorandum with US based software firm, Andolasoft Inc, which will hone the technical skill set of its students.
