WaveTherm is a supplier of thermo-mechanical products and design solutions for companies which manufacture leading-edge embedded technologies and high-performance, integrated electronic systems. To support our customers'​ need to enhance competitiveness, WaveTherm has developed numerous standard conduction-cooled mechanical assemblies for VPX, cPCI, mTCA.2, and mTCA.3 that can be utilized across multiple product development cycles at our customers discretion. We believe that one avenue to increased competitiveness for embedded computer manufacturer's, will be to outsource mechanical and thermal requirements to a knowledgeable and reliable partner with a well-developed and proven product line. Companies which choose to base their electronic designs within the conduction-cooled mechanical assemblies we have already developed and produced, eliminate the need to spend valuable NRE dollars per project, and benefit from cost savings achieved through ordering parts/assemblies which we manufacture in high volume. In today's DoD budget reduction environment, single-board computer manufacturers which rely on WaveTherm will be able to spend more of their R & D dollars on their key value-add, and will be more flexible to the needs of their customers.
