Established in 1937,Western Independent Bankers has been the resource for community banks in the west to thrive. Our core purpose is to offer outstanding educational and leadership development and to provide superior peer networking opportunities. We do this by connecting bankers, educating leaders and potential leaders, and informing various generations of the bank. WIB has more independent bank members than any banking association in the West. The WIB serves 13 Western states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming and US Territories.
