Founded by Malu Rivera-Peoples, WSPA opened in 1991 and since then has been providing the children of the community excellent training in classical and modern ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop (Urban Dance), polynesian dance, and musical theater. To date, the school trains over eleven hundred students with ages ranging from 3 to adult, and is home to several youth dance companies comprised of the school’s most advanced students in every dance style.
