Whiteport Capital buys and strengthens mature software companies with a long-term Buy & Hold strategy. We look for investment opportunities in different vertical software niches in Europe, typically targeting small and medium sized companies. Our approach can be summarized as follows: A long-term investment strategy (Buy & Hold) which creates value through an enduring shareholding, in contrast to traditional PEs which exit their investments after few years. We do not sell the business we acquire. We primarily look for 100% participations; nevertheless, we would also agree to grant minority stakes to current Managers and/or Shareholders. Achieving long-term goals and retaining employee motivation are our foremost priority. We pursue a de-centralized business model where companies retain their location, identity and autonomy. At the same time, we offer our support to strengthen the companies and boost their growth, both organically and inorganically, in order to gain leadership in single market niches.
