The festival brings together over 50 local boutique wine, cheese, cider, beer and smallgoods producers, providing them with a platform to showcase their products to you under one roof in a day filled with Masterclasses, live entertainment, DJ’s, local artists' performances, and for the brave and young at heart - the legendary Grape Stomp Comp (it’s never too late to enroll and participate!). The festival offers the attendees to experience quality food & drink, indulge in free wine tastings and enjoy great music in a fun and relaxing atmosphere. We, as organisers of the Wine and Cheese Fest, have worked very hard to earn the reputation as a premier Melbourne festival in all foodies’ calendars, which is largely due to continuously supporting (mostly) Victorian wine and cheese makers, as well as local producers of quality, boutique artisan products. Wine and Cheese Fest is not an event that focuses on alcohol consumption, instead is a stylish and enjoyable lifestyle event, designed to enjoy gourmet food, wine and music within the grounds of exciting heritage venues (Meat Market in North Melbourne, Seaworks in Williamstown and now the famous The Timber Yard in Port Melbourne).
