Each of our 5 locations connects to one (or more) of two restaurant ventures: The Wine Bar & The Craft Bar, and features full-service artisan Cheese Shop. Hosting and sponsoring dozens of tasting events and fundraisers throughout the year, Wine World helps raise millions of dollars for non-profit organizations. Founder & President, Chan Cox, also founded the non-profit organization, Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation, as well as the area's largest fundraising event, The South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival. Wine World was founded in 2000 by Chan Cox with its first location in Destin. His founding principle was to provide unparalleled selection and customer service delivered at highly competitive pricing. That founding principle remains strong. This spirit for innovation has enabled Wine World to capitalize on evolving market conditions through strategies & initiatives such as the Wine World Direct portfolio, which offers premium imported products at low prices to Wine World customers exclusively. In 2019, Wine World Companies, Inc. (formerly Chan's Wine World) became an employee-owned corporation under an Employee Stock Option Plan.
