Wings Ltda.

Wings has manufactured innovative equipment since 1983. For 30 years, Wings was Brazil’s leading equipment supplier for poultry hatcheries, with national brand names such as Avi-Jector, Avi-Beaker and Avi-Spray for vaccinating and debeaking chicks. This line of products culminated with the development of the Ovo-Jector In-Egg Vaccinator that vaccinates up to 50,000 eggs per hour. One of four companies in the world to first develop this type of vaccinator, Wings sold its patents to the vaccine company Merial in 2012. Since 2000, Wings has manufactured DustControl® systems to restrict dust from being expelled from bulk-product receiving pits into the environment. Large trading companies such as Cargill, ADM and Bunge use the equipment in their transport chain as do feed mills such as Tyson, BRF and JBS and cooperatives such as Caramuru, CVale and Coamo. A market leader for dust pollution control, Wings has more than 250 systems installed in seven countries. Three types of systems are available, determined by the type of receiving pit and the transport vehicle: truck, dump truck, semi-trailer, semi-trailer with hoppers, tandem semi-trailer, railcar, and hydraulic dump platform; the Mechanical DustControl®, the Electronical DustControl® and the DustControl Plus®. Typically, in the United States, the system of choice is the Mechanical DustControl®. Each system is individually designed for the existing receiving pit and installed below the grate, offering no interference to the traffic circulating above the pit.
