WIRE is the only Victoria-wide information and referral service run for women, nonbinary and gender diverse people, by women and nonbinary people and based on a feminist framework. Every year we answer over 10,000 requests for free and confidential information and assistance through our phone support service (1300 134 130), at our Walk-In Information Centre (372 Spencer St, West Melbourne) and via email (support@wire.org.au) and web chat (www.wire.org.au/chat-with-wire). We provide support Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm. We advocate for women’s structural rights, which is informed by our daily work and research projects. We are also a registered training organisation and run a number of gendered training courses and education programs for women.
