Founded in July 2017, the Women Inside Trade (WIT) is a space for dialogue and to gather insights on relevant topics from professional women who work in different segments of international trade in Brazil and abroad. Inspired by international initiatives such as “SheTrades”, launched by the International Trade Center, WIT aims to draw attention to the gender gap that still lasts in Brazil and around the world, and actively contribute to women’s economic empowerment by influencing as well as strengthening the international trade community and providing more visibility to the work of excellence developed by women in this field.
