Women’s Voices Now (WVN), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, uses film to drive positive social change that advances girls' and women's rights globally. We empower filmmakers, produce social-change films, and engage audience members to advance girls’ and women’s rights. We carry out our mission with our film festival, our youth program, and our free online film collection. We invite all those who share our vision, beliefs, and goals to join us. Since 2017, we hold special consultative status to the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). Our work is internationally recognized as impacting six of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs): Good health and well-being (SDG 3); Quality education (SDG 4); Gender equality (SDG 5); Reduced inequalities (SDG 10); Peace, justice and strong institutions (SDG 16); Partnerships for the goals (SDG 17).
