Work For The Soul

Work For The Soul established a community service centre to provide services and activities that would offer support to those most at risk and in need in our communities. Utilising the opportunity available through the National Government work for the dole scheme, we identified and filled a much needed gap for hands on experience and practice in emerging technologies, particularly IT. The aim was to create projects that would give meaning, purpose and real life work skills to job seekers and volunteers while supporting and serving the community. Our projects are creative, interesting, and worthwhile and are planned to evolve into ongoing self-sustaining community services. Our Vision: A place where people find purpose. Our Mission: Providing opportunities to gain meaningful work and life experience, through the provision of Projects and Services to support the most disadvantaged and at risk in our Communities.
