World Skills is a recognized leader in responding to the needs of the local labour market while promoting the skills and talents of New Canadians in Ottawa. Our vision is to build a welcoming community that meets its full potential. We are a not-for-profit organization that offers assistance to more than 2500 immigrants every year through a variety of programs and services, including job search workshops, a resource centre, and sector-specific support for internationally trained professionals and trades people. World Skills participates in partnerships and projects with the three levels of government, other agencies, and numerous stakeholders to address the barriers and challenges that new Canadians face in their efforts to become fully integrated into the local economy.
