YMCA Bedfordshire is one of Bedfordshires leading third sector organisations. Since opening our first 27 bed project in 1989 we have seen our housing portfolio grow to consist of 7 properties around the county. Housing4 - Through our portfolio of 7 accommodation projects we house approx 220 each night. These include 2 refuges for 22 women and their dependents fleeing domestic abuse Midland House, our Luton based project accommodating 78 men and women aged 16-64 year olds 5 Bedford based projects supporting men and women aged 16-64 Skills4 - a portfolio of practical and educational training packages that seek to provide a bespoke and flexible approach to learners needs. As a n organisation we seek to empower individuals with the knowledge and expertise they require to move forward and thrive. F4YP (Fun 4 Young People) - This incredible project supports marginalised and disadvantaged children, young people and their peers aged 5-16 years old through afterschool and holiday clubs. F4YP mixes fun and learning and work closely with schools to support and build links with young people and their families.
