The Zagreb Stock Exchange represents a central Croatian equities marketplace. It was first established as the Commodities and Valuables Division of the Chamber of Commerce in 1907 and was active until 1911. It was reopened in 1919, closed down again in 1945 and reestablished in 1991. For 30 years ZSE leads the development of the capital market in the region while providing transparent, secure, cost-effective and efficient marketplace as well as obtaining the highest quality of capital market services in order to meet the needs of investors, issuers and all stakeholders.
