The Albany Damien Center provides a community center, programs, and activities for individuals and families living with and affected by HIV and AIDS. Our mission is to enhance the lives of people affected by HIV and AIDS in an affirming environment and to reduce new infections in the communities we serve. The Damien Center envisions a community where people with HIV and AIDS achieve their desired potential and are respected as coworkers neighbors and friends, while striving for an HIV free generation. Program areas include the AIDS Community Center (est. 1990), Smart Meals (2001), PAWS (2003), and Mpower! Albany (2014). The AIDS Community Center Program provides drop in programs including HIV prevention support groups, holistic programs (massage, Reiki, spiritual care), HIV testing, mental health counseling, HIV and AIDS resource sections, meeting space, peer referrals, and opportunities for social and recreational activities. PAWS (Pets are Wonderful Support) works to increase health and quality of life by providing assistance to PLWH/A pet owners and ensuring that they are not separated from their animal companions when they need them the most. Smart Meals combines nutrition education with well-balanced meals served during AIDS Community Center drop in hours, grocery bags, and food vouchers to local supermarkets. The Peer Buddy Program matches trained staff living with HIV with members who have poor HIV clinical measurements to ensure they are accessing care and adhering to medications.

Elementary School

Offers advice for Asian women on a range of issues including benefits, debt, housing, domestic violence, disability, immigration, drug and alcohol misuse. Also offer advocacy, befriending and counselling services.

Albany Junior High School (AJHS) is the first purpose built, junior high school in New Zealand and is designed, both philosophically and structurally, to cater for the needs of the adolescent learner - year 7-10. We utilise sound, well researched teaching and learning practices, supported by a strong curriculum, relevant to the needs of adolescent learners. In addition to rigorously learning core subjects, our learners have the freedom to explore their interests in depth. We also work closely with parents and caregivers to identify the potential that is within every learner, providing them with the means to succeed as lifelong learners.

Albany Law School is a small, private school located in the heart of New York State’s capital, where it has educated leaders since 1851. The institution offers students an innovative, rigorous curriculum taught by a committed faculty. It has an affiliation agreement with University at Albany that includes shared programs and access for students and faculty to learn from one another. Students have access to New York's highest court, federal courts, the executive branch, and the state Legislature. Albany Law School offers the J.D.—the traditional law degree—along with master’s degrees, LL.M. degrees, and advanced certificates. Albany School of English is an innovative private language school with eleven centres. There are four Albany Language Schools in Cordoba (Andalusia, Southern Spain), one in Castro (a village outside Cordoba) and six Albany Language Centres based in mainstream schools (five in Cordoba and one in Madrid). Albany School was founded in 1984 and currently employs over 40 teachers. As a member of ACEIA, (The Association of Language Schools for Andalusia), and of FECEI, (The National Federation of Private Language Schools in Spain) we are committed to maintaining high standards throughout the organisation. So much so the school owner is the second Vice-President of ACEIA.
