Mission The CaGBC Alberta Chapter seeks to: Lead and accelerate the transformation to high-performing, healthy green buildings, homes and communities throughout Alberta. Background The CaGBC was formally founded as a not-for-profit in December 2002. It represents a coalition of public and private building industry leaders, who promote buildings and communities that are environmentally responsible, economically viable and healthy places to live and work in. In May 2004, the Alberta Chapter was incorporated as a registered society. The Alberta Chapter is governed by a board of directors and its work is divided among three committees: programs, membership and finance. The activities and events organized by the Chapter focus on education and promotion of sustainable building.

About the Alberta College of Paramedics The Alberta College of Paramedics is the regulatory body for paramedicine profession in Alberta. Legislated under the Health Professions Act (HPA) the College is designated to govern and regulate three levels of practice: • Emergency Medical Responders (EMR), • Primary Care Paramedics (PCP), and • Advanced Care Paramedics (ACP). In addition to regulation, the College also oversees professional conduct. PURPOSE Ensure public trust and safety through the regulation of the paramedic profession. The Alberta Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church is the administrative body for 86 Adventist congregations (serving over 12,000 members), eleven elementary schools, a bookstore, a camp, and a nursing home in Alberta and the Northwest Territories, Canada.
