Apivia Mutuelle est née en 2015 de la fusion entre deux mutuelles santé implantées depuis des décennies en Poitou-Charentes : Smam Mutuelle, créée en 1834 à La Rochelle (Charente-Maritime), la plus ancienne mutuelle de France, et la Smip, créée en 1929 à Niort (Deux-Sèvres), intégrée au groupe Macif depuis 2011. Adhérentes à la Mutualité Française, ces deux entités ont souhaité unir leurs atouts et compétences pour pouvoir proposer à leurs adhérents et prospects présents sur tout le territoire français, métropolitain et DROM, des garanties de protection santé performantes et aux tarifs adaptés. Partenaire de longue date de la Macif, la Smip a intégré officiellement le groupe du même nom le 1er janvier 2011. Il faut savoir qu’à cette époque posséder une automobile n’était pas chose courante et que beaucoup de propriétaires exécutaient encore eux-mêmes les entretiens et menues réparations. » Quand en 1963 Franz Bouillon quitte la société, elle est rebaptisée « AUTOPARTS Luxembourg « (APL). Un nom qui encore aujourd’hui, 50 ans plus tard, est synonyme de haute qualité et de service personnalisé. Le magasin de 250m2 et qui comptait 4 collaborateurs, est alors implanté rue de Strasbourg dans le quartier de la gare. 1974 : LE GRAND DEMENAGEMENT VERS CESSANGE. Bientôt la petite entreprise sort de tous ses gongs dû à une explosion de sa clientèle et entreprit de déménager en 1974 avec ses quelques 40 employés dans un bâtiment flambant neuf au 70, rue de Cessange.
