The Aarhus School of Architecture is an independent institution under the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science. Our aim is to educate architects who can develop the physical environment of the future by engaging with society. We offer teaching at Bachelor, Master and PhD level within architecture and areas related to the architectural profession. Co-creating Scandinavian cities Aarhus | Copenhagen | Stockholm | Malmö | Göteborg | Oslo We believe that, through strong team spirit, knowledge sharing and sound cooperation, we can create and develop Scandinavian cities. We familiarise ourselves with the place, consider the needs of society and maintain ongoing dialogue with the client, the users and our partners. We work across national borders and utilise each other’s competencies to jointly create a buildable, usable, sustainable and aesthetic project that creates value for the client and the users. We work in all architectural scales, from interiors to construction architecture to urban planning, and have concentrated our professional skills in seven segments: Living, Working, Learning, Healthcare, Urban, Culture and Infrastructure. Together, these seven segments form the foundation of the modern Scandinavian city. Arkitema was founded in Aarhus in 1969. Today, the practice is one of Scandinavia’s biggest architectural firms with a staff of 600 employees, and has been a part of COWI since 2019.

Arkivverkets samfunnsoppdrag er å sikre samfunnets behov for å bevare, gjøre tilgjengelig og formidle arkiver som er avlevert til eller deponert i etaten. Samfunnsoppdraget omfatter også å fastsette krav og standarder, veilede og føre tilsyn med offentlige arkiv, samt oversikt og samordning av arbeidet med privatarkiv.

Arkki, School of Architecture for Children and Youth is a nonprofit organization. Arkki is the first school in Finland specializing in providing architectural and environmental education to children as an after school activity. Arkki offers a variety of architectural courses to young people and creates educational curriculums for schools, museums and after school art and architecture clubs. Around 600 children between ages 4 to 19 participate weekly in architectural courses on a long term basis. In addition Arkki offers annually various architectural short term courses for about 1000 children. Arkki is also involved in research projects and organizes events and conferences. Arkki is involved in national and international networks of professionals in the field of architecture and environmental education. It also organizes training of school teachers and daycare personnel. In Helsinki Arkki runs a Childrens Gallery of Architecture.

Arkki International provides creative education to 4-19-year-old kids using architecture and design projects as holistic real-world phenomena. Arkkis phenomenon-based and hands-on learning integrates different STEAM subjects, Humanities and Social Sciences, and supports the development of diverse skills and competencies. Arkkis full curriculum is a 15-year program with 1500 hours of teaching content. Arkki's motto Play create succeed! highlights the playful approach in active learning and emphasizes creativity, imagination, and other important 21st century skills needed in the future as well as the significance of positive feedback and motivation within the learning process. Arkki programs make learning fun and engaging while fostering life-long-learning. Arkki is internationally renowned and is present now in 7 countries and 20 centers with 30 000+ pupils in Europe, South-East Asia, and China. Arkki programs are developed in Arkki Finland since 1993 and are officially acknowledged by the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture. Arkki International develops and licenses Arkki programs worldwide, and is an official member of Education Finland program. Arkki programs have impacted tens of thousands of children who have participated in programs, courses, workshops or projects. Arkki actively collaborates in Finland and Internationally with local governments, companies, and organizations such as UNICEF to make childrens voices better heard all over the world. Arkki has been recognized internationally multiple times. Recently Arkki has been selected as a finalist for the WISE 2020 awards for its impactful and innovative approach to education, it has won UNICEF CFCI2019 Inspire Award in the category "Meaningful Child Participation" and has made it to the prestigious HundrED 2020 Global Collection as one of the leading and most inspiring innovations in education that are changing the face of K12 education today.

We're planning buildings, and spaces varying from single family houses to underground train station. The office focuses on the development the built environment with advanced BIM design.
