Armed Forces Cooperative Association was established in order to provide services to members of the armed forces in order to improve the status of its members socially and economically following the cooperative principles contained in the statute according to Law 13/1976. AFCOOP activities includes the areas of consumption, production, marketing and services. The Armed Forces Officers Club & Hotel (AFOCH) founded in 1997 has evolved into an oasis for luxury accommodation, business meetings, social gatherings, recreational activities and catering welcoming both local community and international customers and delivering exhilarating experiences. There is a dedicated sheltered swimming pool, splash pad and gaming area for the children. The club features a range of stylish à la carte restaurants including all-day dining at Al Bathna, a Pizza delight at C3 Café, dining and socialize at Taverna the Bar, café at Lobby lounge and an outdoor cafe called caracal.
