En 2022, ARTER change ses statuts et devient entreprise à mission. En 2023 ARTER se réengage sur la certification ISO 20121 et obtient la certification B CORP. Ces deux référentiels structurent l’évolution de l’agence pour la période 2023-2026.

A subsidiary of the Vehbi Koç Foundation, Arter was active between 2010-2018 at its building on Istiklal Street, Istanbul’s main pedestrian artery for culture and arts. During that time, Arter presented 35 exhibitions with accompanying publications, talks, performances and workshops. At its new building in the Dolapdere district of Istanbul, Arter presents exhibitions from but not limited to its collection as well as performances and events across disciplines, expanding the the range of its programmes. Designed by Grimshaw Architects (UK), the new building houses performance halls, learning areas, a library, a conservation laboratory, an arts bookstore, and a café in addition to gallery spaces.
