ASC is a non-profit organization that seeks to empower and inspire the science communication community to expand their communication potential and affect the world. We promote responsible practices in science communication, facilitate discussion and exchange of ideas, enable networking, and foster public engagement. We serve science communication practitioners, which we define as anyone who engages in science communication and outreach, and science communication facilitators, defined as professional communicators who train others, convene groups, and otherwise make up the professional science communication community. Each year we organize an conference where scientists, journalists, politicians, students, and anyone who loves science can convene and share their expertise. This gathering offers networking opportunities, instructional workshops, and presentations on how to better communicate science to..."everyone."

АСИ работи за изграждането на общество от софтуерни инженери, които създават качествени и надеждни решения във всички сегменти на софтуерната индустрия чрез иновации, добри практики и обучение през целия живот. Основна цел на Aсоциацията е продължаващото образование на софтуерните специалисти и усъвършенстването им не само в конкретиката на професионалната им специализация, но и в социалните им умения, работата в екип и т.н.

ASP provides membership services to professionals in public and private sectors of the human spaceflight industry. ASP maintains a global, multidisciplinary membership whose common goal is the achievement of milestones in spaceflight economy.

ASiT was originaly established in 1976 as a forum for senior registrars to meet socially and discuss training matters. ASiT now counts numerous professional leaders and Royal College Presidents amongst its' alumni. The Association is the second largest surgical specialty association in the UK with over 2,700 members, from all ten surgical specialties. ASiT is the only body in the UK to represent trainees at both Core and Higher Surgical Training levels, with orthopaedic registrars also represented by BOTA. ASiT functions through the input of its elected specialty and regional representatives, and serves the needs of trainees beyond its formal membership through training courses, and trainee grants, prizes and fellowships. ASiT membership costs just £40 when paid by direct debit or £50 otherwise. This fee has remained as low as possible whilst aiming to maximise return to trainees. The highlight of this is the ASiT Annual Surgical Conference, with over 700 delegates attending a weekend of educational courses, lectures and topical debate on all aspects of surgery and surgical training. ASiT represents the views of surgical trainees through representation on the councils of the Surgical Royal Colleges, ISCP, JCST, and numerous other working parties and committees. Unlike many other junior doctor trainee groups, ASiT remains independent of the Surgical Royal Colleges and other professional medical organisations, and is run by trainees, for trainees.
